Man dies after hoax call to police by social media trolls

A grandfather who refused to give up his coveted Twitter handle to a social media troll collapsed and died of a heart attack after internet bullies sent armed police to his home in a malicious “swatting” incident.
Mark Herring, 60, was a victim of a campaign of harassment by teenagers, including an unnamed Briton, that resulted in officers surrounding his home in Tennessee with weapons drawn because of a hoax 911 call.
